"Whiskey Beginnings"(working title) is the story of Junior Johnson, a pioneer of modern day stock car racing. The Junior Johnson Project takes you from his teen years running moonshine for his daddy, Robert Glenn Johnson, who was the largest moonshiner in North Carolina, and on into his years on the track as he became a racing legend. This project will not try to duplicate or imitate what all these great drivers did on the racetrack, moreover it is a story about a young man and his trials and tribulations on and off the track, in his endeavor to become a success in life.

This is, in fact, the working website for the actual project. That means that the filmmakers will be using this website frequently. Your ideas and thoughts about people, personalities, racing and the project in general are welcomed.
